engagements abroad include the international conference on Antisemitism
and Ethnography in the Sixteenth Century, at Uppsala University, February
2015. In spring 2017 he will be a speaker in Wroclaw/ Breslau, Poland, on
the Jews in the eyes of Christian Hebraists, a talk based upon his research for
his latest book, i.e., a new biography in English, Johann Reuchlin, which was
published in 2015.

Reformation, bringing new insights which have had a significant impact on
the wider world of Luther scholarship.
Dr Franz Posset, born in 1945, resident of Beaver Dam, is a German
American ecumenist and church historian, a distinguished independent
researcher in the religious thought of the Renaissance and Reformation. He
holds a Diploma in Catholic Theology from the University of Tubingen,
Germany, and a PhD in Religious Studies from Marquette University, Mil-
