Your child is bringing home today a summer reading log. In order to encourage a continued love
for reading, we are asking all students to record their summer reading on the provided summer
reading log. There is also a thermometer to document the total number of minutes read.
Throughout the summer, we are also asking that parents email us “readies” in lieu of “selfies”.
More information regarding this is being sent home today. We will post some of the “readies” on
our various social media sites throughout the summer. All
students who participate and turn in their logs and thermometers will be invited to a celebration when we return
in the fall.
