Dear Members of the Community:
Walk on the Wild Side is a Family Fun Walk benefitting the Living Materials Center (LMC)
at Seabrook Intermediate School. The LMC houses over 50 different species of animals
that are incorporated in classroom education by CCISD teachers. Through several
different programs, these animals provide a unique learning opportunity for all CCISD
students.
Eight years ago, two sixth graders at Seabrook Intermediate started this walk as a
service project for Lone Star Leadership Academy. This year they have turned over the
reigns to a new sixth grader who will continue the project. Thanks to these students we
will continue the overwhelming success and support for the LMC!
We are asking our community businesses to partner with us by making a donation or
sponsoring our event. Your support will ensure the continued success of the LMC
Programs and the care of the animals. We respectfully ask that your sponsorship or
donation be submitted by: January 6, 2017
The Walk continues to grow, and last year we had over 250 participants. All sponsors will
also be recognized at the event. Below are the sponsorship levels:
Tortoise Level, $1000 donation:

Largest Logo on Tshirt, largest recognition on banner, recognition sign on Merton,
the Sulcata Tortoise, Thank You to business on school marquee for one week
Python Level, $500 donation:

Large Logo on Tshirt, large recognition on banner, recognition along run pathway
Chinchilla level, $250 donation:


Frog Level, $100 donation:

