Year One had lots of fun finding out about 2D and 3D shapes
and their properties.
We used lots of different materials to create shapes and worked
on a display which looks great in the classroom. We even knew
what some of the difficult shapes were called - do you know what
a ten sided shape is called?
Eleven children in our class won the challenge of finding this out,
well done.
Remember wherever you are in the house or out and about, see
what shapes things are made from and see if you can name both
the 2D and 3D shape. Test your parents as I bet they won’t know
as much as we do!
