cased Spherical Weight Clock, No. 291 of 1000, Having a 5.25” Roman chapter ring with
half hour divisions, the single-train timepiece movement powered by a steel weights
dropping from a spiral track into a twelve spoke "ferris wheel", then deposited into a
mahogany tray base, with brass plaque Spherical Weight Clock on brass bun feet,
34.5cm,(13,5") high, together with twenty four balls.

An Officer’s Sword of The Royal Horse Guard. The Wilkinson blade engraved M.A.A.L.
and belonging to Capt M.A.A. Little and having chrome pierced hilt applied with brass
crown monogram, wire bound fish skin grip, chequered brass pommel and brass mounted
chrome scabbard.
Provenance: Copy of a letter from Major W.R. Edgedale setting out the career of Captain
M.A.A. Little, who was commissioned to the Royal Horse Guards (The Blues) on 12th June,
1935. During all his service he served in Egypt, India, The United Kingdom and the Middle
East. He died of wounds on 5th October, 1944 and was buried at Santacangelo, Italy on the
same day. His rank at the time of his death was Substantive Major.
Royal Horse guards Aiguillette and Belt. A velvet lined metal case with oval brass label
Rogers & Co., 8 New Burlington Street, Savile Row, London and personal name plaque to
Captain M.A.A. Little. The box containing gold core aiguillette and gold braid leather belt
and strap by Hawkes & Co., 14 Piccadilly London. The belt having silver gilt buckles.
Provenance: Copy of a letter from Major W.R. Edgedale setting out the career of Captain

Two 20th Century Carved Oak Throne Chairs. The highly decorative chairs bear
carvings to the top depicting Beehive and Cornucopia to one and Sea horses to the other,
also bearing the Latin inscription 'Fortiter Defendit Triumphans' (Newcastle on Tyne motto)
Both chairs featuring barley twist columns beside a floral frieze panel, carved beaded and
scroll arm rests with decorative stretchers and central shield design, approx. 69 x 146 x 66
cms.
