Make a water filter to clean dirty water. You need a
two litre plastic bottle, scissors, cotton wool, dirty water,
washed sand, washed gravel, washed stones and a
clean cloth.

1. Cut the bottom off a two litre bottle and
fill the nozzle with cotton wool.
2. Put the bottle upside down into the bottom
of the cold drink bottle.
3. Put the washed sand into the bottle,
followed by the washed gravel, followed
by the washed stones. Put a clean cloth
over the top.
4. Pour dirty water into the water filter and see
what type of water comes out the bottom.
5. Even though the water looks clean it
should not be drunk. Add 1teaspoon of
bleach to 20 litres of water and let it stand
overnight to kill any germs. Then the water
can be drunk.
