Equestrian sports in bavaria: Young dressage team increases
Five horses moves from danish olympic rider to Munich
Munich, 20.01.2014 The Bavarian Dressage Team Marburg, consisting of the dressage riders
Anja Plönzke, Andrea Vodermair and Yeliz Marburg, now have five new horses between the age
of five and 12 years available for riding. They originate from the dressage stable of the Danish
Olympic rider Andreas Helgstrand and are now ridden by the three riders for the owners (Sara
Marburg GmbH and MarburgVodermair GmbH) in training and in competitions.
"What happened here was a stroke of luck and coincidence in one", says the entrepreneur Sara
Marburg. After all, she adds, it would be rare that at the same time there are several firstclass
horses in one stable which successfully could be bought after the comprehensive examination.
Even the longstanding Grand Prix rider Anja Ploenzke and their successful pupils are
enthusiastic. The three says in a joint statement: "For us as a team there are now completely
new possibilities and we are delighted to be working together to realize a dream."
"It is not easy to say good by to five of the best horses, because it is difficult to find firstclass
dressage horses and train. However, I am glad to have sold these firstclass horses to
professional riders who are in a position to promote the further development of the horses not
only for the owners but in the interest of the entire equestrian sport. I wish the Team Marburg
best for the future and look forward to the further development in the future”, commented
Andreas Helgstrand the sale.
Although this year's first dressage shows are almost already before, there is no hurry for
everyone who is involved : "Same as we still do with our MarburgVodermair GmbH we want to
train our horses in calm. Those who work with horses can not force anything and need in
addition to willpower and perseverance a lot of patience and love", Sara Marburg summarizes
the common values
together finally.
