MJH Spelling Bee Winner Repeats
K.C. Clark & Tara Wunderlich
Congratulations go out to Tara Wunderlich for placing first in this year’s spelling bee
with the word ‘encryption’. For the second year in a row, Tara will represent
Montgomery Junior High in the Area Spelling Bee in February.
MJH ELA teacher and spelling bee coordinator, K.C. Clark, said, “We had another very
successful Spelling Bee. I lost track of how many rounds we ended up having; the kids
really studied this year.” He would like to thank MJH PTO member Pam Calvert and
MJH maintenance men, Mr. Jordan Mendoza and Mr. Greg Devereaux, for all of the
preparatory work. Appreciation also goes out to volunteers, Ms. Judy Duncan, Ms.
Michele Desmond, and Ms. Leslie Auchter for assisting and judging.
Honors also go out to second and third place spellers, Lou Leman and Rachel
Vandigriff, respectively.
