The Daily Dish February 18th Edition DOUGLAS HOLTZ-EAKIN | FEBRUARY 18, 2016 Fifty-seven percent of Americans do not support the Iran nuclear agreement, according to a new Gallup poll. The survey reveals that only 30 percent of Americans favor the deal, which is intended to limit Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for lifted sanctions on Iran. AAF research found that the deal will provide the Islamic State with about $140 billion in sanctions relief and unfrozen assets. You’re Invited! AAF is hosting an event Tuesday at noon on “Evaluating the BEPS Initiative: Who Wins, Who Loses, and What Matters Most.” U.S. Congressman Charles Boustany will give the keynote address and the event will feature a panel discussion examining the recent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting initiative by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the extent to which countries will implement BEPS-related policies, and the implications these policies will have on U.S. interests. RSVP here. Eakinomics: Keeping Score on the Left The 2016 presidential race is in full swing, and it is often hard to keep track of the various policy proposals being launched by the candidates.
