They will be back in January. PTSO has the Wishing Tree up throughout the month of November. The tree consists of items needed by teachers. Jeans can be turned in to Mrs. McFarlin Ms. Lemus’s Primetime is having a Bake Sale. Buy goodies ranging from $0.25 to $2.00 before school, between classes, and during lunch. Mr Jayo's PT will be selling candy canes during PT and after school. Come on down to A-30 Mrs. Mason’s room during Prime Time and lunch to play Plinko. You will win every time. Ms. Smith’s prime-time is selling soda and water for $1. They are also selling Twizzler candy for 25 cents, and fruit for 50 cents. Mrs. Durham’s 8th grade primetime will be having a raffle for a movie basket. It includes soda, popcorn, candy and two movie tickets to Cinema West at the Magic Valley Mall! Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. They will be available for purchase during primetime outside room A-18 and outside the cafeteria during lunches. Mrs. McFarlin’s Primetime will be selling donuts before school in B-Building at the Snack Den. You can buy 2 donuts for a $1.00. Tuesdays through Fridays only. Mrs. Ramirez’s primetime is having a Hot Cocoa Lounge before school in the Drama Room. Come in and enjoy hot cocoa and Holiday cartoons for just 1 dollar! If your running late come grab a hot cocoa and enjoy it in your own primetime. Mr. Bartley’s class is going to raffle off the opportunity to throw a plate of whipped cream at Ana Bacon’s face during PrimeTime. There will be five winners every Friday and tickets will cost 50cents or three for a dollar. Ms. Carter’s Primetime in B-17 is selling mini candy bars for 25cents and mechanical pencils for 25cents or nicer ones with a comfort grip for $50cents as well as .7 & .9 lead and pencil top erasers (2 for 25cents). Stop by before/after school or during primetime. In the morning, before the first bell, Mr. Garcia is having 2 half-court shots for 1 dollar. If you make the shot you get $2.00 back. If you make the first one, you don’t get to take the 2nd shot. Tuma’s PT is selling Gum, Tic-Tacs and Icebreakers for $1.00 during PT and during 7th grade lunch. The 1st period 8th grade drama class will be performing The Mad Tea Party By Brian D. Taylor in the O’Leary auditorium at 7:00 pm December 9th. Tickets are $3:00 for adults $2.00 for students and free for students with an O’Leary Activity Card. You will go mad if you miss this one. Homework Club has started! If you need extra help with assignments, time to read your AR book in a quiet setting, or want to get your homework done before you go home, then YOU want to attend our Homework Club, and everyone is invited! This club is from 3:00-4:00 every Tuesday and Thursday. 6th graders report to Mrs. Padhilia in room A-42 or Ms. Parker in A- 40. 7th graders report to either Padhilia, Parker, Smith, or Robbins. 8th graders report to Ms. Smith in room A-22 or Ms. Robbins in room A-25. Students: We need your baby picture! The OMS Cub News is in need of baby pictures for our Baby Face segment. Please bring your baby picture into the front office, and place it into the baby face bucket for a chance to be in our broadcast. Your picture must have your first and last name and your Prime Time teacher name on the back of the picture.
