University Complutense of Madrid (UCM) invite you to

This European Conference is organized in collaboration with International Development in Europe Committee (IDEC) of International Literacy
Association (ILA), and Federation of European Literacy Associations (FELA).
This IBEROAMERICAN Forum is hosted in conjunction with different
stakeholders groups who are actively engaged in advancing the literacy in
Ibero-America.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE of these events?
Provide communicative spaces, taking into account the dynamics proposed by each of these
two events, to analyse experiences, researches and other cultural initiatives to provide
alternatives for building “communities of readers and writers” in and outside school.
WHo IS invited?
The target groups of these events comprise all those interested in ‘moving literacy on’:
teacher-educators and teachers, re-searchers, librarians, students, parents, etc.
WHAT ARE THEY ABOUT?

Communicative multicultural/plurilingual contexts.
Community of readers and writers throughout life cycle.
Reading and writing with old and new technologies.
Different literacies (audio-visual, technological, informational and plurilingual).
Children’s and young people’s literature.
Literacy policies, diversity of readers and writers, and promotion of reading and writing in and out of educational institution.
Learning to teach reading and writing.
Presence of written culture in society.

The contributions may be submitted:
