Planet Mickey Clock Your preschooler will never miss their favorite episodes when they learn to tell time with the Planet Mickey Clock. Test your youngster's knowledge by moving the hands manually and see how much fun telling time can be! Materials list • 1 large paper plate • 3 small dessert paper plates • Acrylic or tempera paint • Sea Sponge • Construction paper • Numbered stickers • Scissors • Small brad and a paper clip • Glue Note: cutting intended for grown-ups only 1. Using sea sponge for texture, paint the large paper plate and two of the small dessert plates. Let dry. 2. Cut out 12 stars out of construction paper (star-shaped template is included). Afterwards, add number stickers to each star (1 to 12) and glue the stars to the large paper plate just like a clock. 3. Using one of the smaller dessert paper plates, cut a portion of the outer rim into two pieces to create the clocks hands making sure one is longer than the other. With scissors (adults only), punch a little hole through center of large plate and through the clock hands. Attach the hands with a small brad. 4. Glue the two small paper plates to the back side of the large plate to resemble Mickey's ears. 5. Tape a paper clip to the back to hang the clock on the wall. Telling time has never been this much fun!
