Guidelines
First of all, thank you for showing interest in submitting an
article for Guaranteed Giddy. GG is very much a growing blog,
it was founded in August 2015 and has a BIG future.

Why do it
To share something you know that others may not. It’s that simple! If you have a story or project, why
not put it out there? One of the most rewarding parts of writing for me is letting go and sharing what
I hold dear to my heart (and of course having fun with it)!
What to blog about
Happiness, whatever that means to you. A personal story of triumph, a special event that you learned
from or maybe a creative project that changed your perspective. The main GG categories are
Physical Inspiration, Mental Inspiration and Creative Inspiration.
SAY YES to being honest and giving credit where credit is due. SAY NO to copycatting material from
another source, giving out personal information (phone number, address, etc.) and using
inappropriate/illegal material.
How much to write
Posts are typically 500-1000 words. Don’t worry that’s not as long as you think!
Include pictures
Yes at least one photo is necessary. Pictures grab readers! High resolution/original photos only
please. Video welcome as well.
The rules
Not all posts will be accepted, you will receive a reply either way. Your post may be edited. You will
receive credit (on social media) for the post. While you will not be paid in dollars you will be paid in
good, giddy vibes! You can repackage blog posts that you have already written for your own
website, but it must be the entire post, no partial entries. Including a link back to your site in that
case is a-okay. Contributors must include a 1-2 sentence biography and a high resolution
portrait of themselves.
Submit your work
Fill out the Google Doc at https://goo.gl/forms/9W0zGkMriWGiiq8q2 and send all info (document,
photos, biography) via email with ‘Contributor Post’ in subject line to [email protected].
When the post goes live
Remember, GG is growing! I need your help to boost the post. Contributors are required to share
the post and tag Guaranteed Giddy on all available social media platforms (whichever ones you use)
twice after the blog is posted.
