Functions of ATP 10
Signal Generator:
The Signal Generator allows
various types of artificial
signals, such as audio,
acceleration or RPM signals,
to be generated and saved.
The Signal Generator can
be launched from the
context menu of the Source
Pool (click into the Source
Pool with the right mouse
button).
Signal Generator User Interface:
The user interface of the Signal Generator first offers a selection of signal types (for
example sine, rectangle, RPM sweep, noise, modulation, universal).
Signal parameters (depending
on the selected signal type)
Base parameters (independent
of the selected signal type)

Base Parameters:
The various possibilties to configure the
base parameters allow the user to create
signals for a wide range of specific needs:
Selection of the dimension unit,
e.g. dB SPL, Pa, m/s2, V
Selection of the reference value
Activation of the pulse generation
Signal Type "Universal":
Formula for the desired
signal shape
Freely definable
constants
The signal type "Universal" uses a mathematical formula to define the desired
signal shape. Completely different signals can be generated for each channel.
For a better overview, up to 29 constants can be freely defined.

Merge Editor:
The Merge Editor allows
signal sequences from
different sound files to be
merged (merge
operations). Furthermore,
the signal level of sound
files can be manipulated
(in-place operations).
Merge Operations:
After inserting a sound file into the Merge Editor via drag & drop, the buttons on the
right side of the window can be used to start the various merge operations, e.g.
Append, Insert, Add etc.
To merge two sound
files, simply drag the
second sound file
onto the button with
the desired function!

In-place Operations:
In-place operations are functions that do not require a second mark, such as inserting
or appending pauses, deleting sections of a mark, inverting signals, adding a
constant component etc. The in-place operations can be started via the Edit menu.
