VOTER REGISTRATION AND ELECTION INFORMATION
Voter Registration Information
To register to vote in Washington, you must be:
•
A citizen of the United States;
•
A legal resident of Washington State;
•
At least 18 years old by Election Day; and Not under the authority
of the Department of Corrections.
How to register:
•
Register online with the Secretary of State, www.vote.wa.gov.
•
Register in person at the Douglas County Elections office or the
Douglas County Transportation and Land Services building.
Official ballot drop box sites are available May 6
thru 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, May 24 at the
following locations:

Registration deadlines:
While you may register to vote at any time, there are registration
deadlines prior to each election. The deadlines for the May 24, 2016
Presidential Primary Election:
•
April 25 – Deadline to register to vote online or by mail, or
update existing voter registration information.
•
May 16 – In-person registration deadline for people not currently
registered in Washington State. Register in person at the Elections
office in Waterville or at the Douglas County Transportation and
Land Services building in East Wenatchee.
Keep your voter registration current:
Update your registration if you have moved or changed your name, or if
your signature has changed. Simply submit a new registration form to update
your information.
Ballot Information
On Tuesday May 24,2016 in Douglas County, Washington, there will
be held a Presidential Primary Election for the purpose of submitting to the
voters their approval and adoption or rejection of the Candidates listed. All
elections in Douglas County will be held entirely by mail.
Call Douglas County Elections to obtain a replacement ballot if your
original ballot packet is lost, spoiled, or destroyed.
