From the President
Dear Friends,
Neighbor to Nation (NTN) was created 17 years ago to connect
thoughtful, caring individuals with extraordinary national and
international charities. In that time span, over $25 million has been
raised and distributed to fund life-changing missions from cuttingedge medical research to hunger relief and faith-based outreach.
The NTN mission today remains much as our founders imagined:
offer charities that meet rigorous standards to government and
other workplace employees and deliver their generous donations
as efficiently and effectively as possible. Our Board of Directors, as
well as our CEO and staff, place our fiduciary responsibilities and our
mandate to be good stewards paramount to all others.
This past year, Neighbor to Nation participated in over 100
government and private sector workplace campaigns. We are grateful
to each of those campaigns for choosing to include our member
charities…and we’re extremely appreciative of the donors who
generously supported the missions of those charities. Together,
we’re making an important impact, on our own neighbors and our
neighbors around the globe.

From the CEO
Dear Friends,
“Changing Times, Changing Faces” was our
theme for 2014—and it could hardly have
been more accurate! This year Neighbor
to Nation has seen changes and growth in
our campaign involvement, in our member
charities, and in how we tirelessly pursue the
best ways to serve our members and donors.

There have been “changing faces” in our campaign offering—in 2014 we added the Oklahoma State Charitable Campaign, increasing our
reach and the ability of participating charities
to connect with donors. Charities that participate in NTN change lives throughout the world
through feeding programs, advocacy, faith-based outreach, disaster
relief, resources for the disabled, medical research, mentoring for at-risk
youth, microloans, nutritional training, and a multitude of other efforts.
As the times change, Neighbor to Nation effectively adapted and grew,
taking initiative and boldly seeking new ways to serve its members.
For instance, when Super Typhoon Haiyan made landfall on November
7th, 2013, our new Disaster Relief page went live within twenty-four
hours, highlighting member charities and drawing 800 visitors. We also
expanded our online advertising through a grant from Google, resulting
in over 50,000 visitors discovering our website and NTN participating
charities.
The “face” of our application system changed, too—Neighbor to Nation
invested in major technological improvements to our application system,
providing members with a smoother experience and saving them
valuable time.
The more things change, however, the more they stay the same… and
this is true of Neighbor to Nation in the areas where consistency is
critical. We remain committed to excellent service, efficient stewardship
of funds, and transparency at every level. We remain a leader in
workplace giving. We remain proud to support our members in carrying
out their missions of charity and evangelism. Above all, we remain
grateful to you for the part you play in a changing world.
Sincerely,
Tom Youngblood
CEO

Accomplishments
As the old adage says, if you’re not moving forward, you will

charities with state charitable registration filings
• Invested in technology improvements including
streamlined application system to save time for members
• Improved promotion of participating charities at
campaign events by increasing outreach to campaign
managers and redesigning charity guides
• New Disaster Response web page highlighting
participating charities drew over 800 visitors in the
aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan
• Free advertising grant from Google drew 58,118 visitors to website, increasing awareness of the
