Riverton Country Club Ladies' Golf Association Minutes April 21, 2016
The meeting was called to order by President Virginia Lowe at 1:15 PM. Six
ladies were in attendance. Patty Krause acted as secretary in the absence of
Marion Melton. The minutes from the previous meetings were not available to
be read.
Shirley Benson reported a balance for 2015 $2096. She noted that she sent a
check to NPR for $25 on April 18 in memory of Helen Krause, resulting in a
current balance of $2071.
Barbara Snyder made a motion to continue the RCC Ladies’ Golf Association
with dues set at $10. Janice Vosika seconded the motion and the motion passed.
There will no longer be a “Ringer Board,” but we will continue with the $.25
assessment for three putts.
The 2016 officers for the Ladies’ Golf Association are:
President Virginia Lowe, Vice-President Janet Jones, Treasurer Shirley
Benson, and Secretary Marion Melton.
Tee Times for Thursday's play will be 10AM in April, 9 AM in May, 8 AM for
June, July, and August, 9 AM for September and 10 AM for October.
Ellen Strube made a motion to buy a new salad bar for Janette and the club
house if it is within our budget of $500-$1000. The motion was seconded by
Janice Vosika, motion passed.
