Disable area code/call waiting Win XP
1. After you are logged into Windows, Click on Start, and then on Control Panel.
2. When your Control Panel opens, click on “Network & Internet Connections”.
3. Once you’re inside of the “Network & Internet Connections” window, click on
“Setup or Change your Internet connection”.
4. In the Internet Properties screen click the tab on the top that says “Connections”
then click on your Brightnet dialer in the white window and click settings.
5. Once the new window is open click on “Properties” on the bottom
6. Uncheck “Use Dialing Rules”, and under your phone number put a *70 and a
comma so it looks like this *70, 555-5555 and click ok.
