At the Orpheum in Minneapolis
WICKED
Hailed by The New York Times as “the defining musical
of the decade,” this cultural phenomenon has sold out four
previous Minneapolis engagements.
So much happened before Dorothy dropped in. WICKED,
the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land
of Oz… but from a different angle. Long before Dorothy
arrives, there is another young woman, born with emeraldgreen skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an
extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who
is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the
unlikeliest of friendships… until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.”
Our seats are on main floor in sections 3 & 4 in rows H-M (on the outside, but close!)

Meditation and
Mindfulness: Introduction
Are you stressed out? Are you a worrier, depressed or
dissatisfied with the direction of your life? Do you want to
reconnect with a more authentic, freer, and happier you? Do
you want to create the foundation for a lasting and truly life-changing practice? Have you
been wondering what 'mindfulness' is and how it can help you? If you answered 'yes' to
any of these questions, then this class is for you.
In this remarkable four-part class, meditation teacher and author Ken Britzius teaches
powerful meditation and mindfulness techniques which lead to profound personal
transformation. Topics covered in-depth include: what mindfulness is and how it will help
you live in peace and joy; meditation techniques to calm the body and mind; practices for
managing pain; techniques for working with anxiety; meditation for letting go of afflictive
emotions.
The meditation taught in this class is non-religious and is suitable for people of all ages
and backgrounds. Dress for comfort. Bring a yoga mat if you have one and a cushion or
pillow to sit on. You do not have to sit on the floor to meditate. Many people sit in chairs

Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra Series
Discover a yoga practice of rest and relaxation. This three-class series will allow you to
pause, reflect and discover the stillness needed to collect nourishment and healing. The
intention for this series is to share these practices so you can continue to use them in the
comfort of your home. After each class, students will be given resources to continue a
short home practice. Six spots available based on props.
What is Restorative Yoga? Restorative Yoga is a series of poses that use props to
completely support the body, in stillness, without effort for total relaxation and release.
The poses relieve the effect of chronic stress and create a space for the body to heal itself.
In general, restorative yoga is for anyone feeling weak, fatigued, and/or stressed from
daily activities. This practice is especially beneficial before, during or after any major life
events and can be practiced when ill or recovering from illness or injury.
What is Yoga Nidra? The definition of the sanskrit word Nidra is 'sleep,' so in simple
terms it is the practice of yogic sleep. It is a guided, therapeutic relaxation practice
performed lying in a comfortable position with eyes closed. Through this guided
relaxation process it allows one to access the subconscious with the intent to create new
patterns of healing and transformation. The benefits include deep rest and relaxation,
stress release, better sleep, self inquiry, emotional healing, self-realization and trauma/
PTSD release.

Come to the high school gym on
Wednesday nights to play the fastest
growing recreational sport in the nation.
This mini-tennis game is a combination
of ping-pong, tennis, racquetball and
badminton played with wood, composite
and graphite paddles and unique plastic
balls. It is easy to learn, provides plenty
of exercise, and is played on a court much
smaller than a tennis court. Participants
don't have to be strong, don't have to be
quick, and don't have to be athletic or
good at other sports. Pickleball is not
about power, but instead it is about shot
placement and accuracy.
