The planning of all functions should be made with our Banquet Planner and Executive Chef to ensure that all information and details are confirmed and in writing. All events shall end no later than 12:30am, with the premises being vacated in an orderly manner promptly thereafter. Outdoor activities must be discontinued by 12am midnight. Member-Related Events All events which are held for the social benefit of the member or the member’s immediate family (i.e. son or daughter’s wedding reception or rehearsal dinner, parents’ wedding anniversary, birthday, graduation, engagement party, etc.) are considered Member-Related Events. Member-Sponsored Events Member-Sponsored Events are any private function that a member hosts for any person or organization other than his/her immediate family. The sponsoring member of any private function should be in attendance throughout the event and sign a Member-Sponsor agreement form. The member sponsor will be held responsible for the conduct of all guests and must ensure that all are aware of and abide by all Club Rules and Policies for sponsored events outlined in the By-Laws, Rules and Regulations, Confirmation Letter, and F&B Director. All charges associated with the sponsored event will appear on the sponsoring member’s most current Club statement. Payment should be made by check, cash or credit card at the closing of a Member-Sponsored Event. Checks should be made payable to The Country Club of Salisbury. We accept most major credit cards, please check your card before event. Guarantee Your attendance guarantee must be made 72 hours in advance of your function. Charges will be made for no less than the guarantee or the actual number served. Any guarantee greater than the original count on plated meals, made less than 72 hours in advance, is subject to product availability and will incur additional charges. Smoking Policy The Clubhouse is a smoke-free facility. Smoking areas are available outside. Dress Code The dress code for the main floor of the Clubhouse is casual attire at lunch with no sports attire permitted, except as permitted by the Club during special events. After 6pm on the main level, a jacket and/or a tie is optional, collard shirts are required. All guests and gentlemen 12 years of age and older should adhere to the Club dress code. The lower floor of the Clubhouse permits casual golf attire throughout business hours. Audio Visual Equipment Audio visual equipment is available for functions at the Club at no additional charge. If we do not have the audio visual equipment in house that you desire, we are glad to rent the equipment you need and charge your account. The Club’s sound system, podium, microphone, wireless microphone, projector, screen, television, DVD player and VHS player are available. The Club does not provide a lap top computer, guests will need to provide their own. Please book your audio visual needs in advance. Wireless Internet is available throughout the Clubhouse. Other Event Services • • • • Pastries ie: wedding cakes, grooms cakes, birthday cakes, etc. Graphic design items such as invitations, place cards, etc. Photography Services Design and Photography items will be paid separately to our Marketing & Communications Director, Misty Ratcliff. Prices and details would also be discussed with her as well. Decorations & Gifts • • • • • We ask that all decorations be confined to your specific room(s) and must be approved. Rented table linens must arrive at the Club at least 48 hours in advance of your event. The host is responsible for floral arrangements not removed immediately after the event. The Club is not responsible for any rented items, including linens, etc. The Club cannot be held liable for damaged or lost merchandise, decorations, or other articles prior to, during, or after the event. • Gifts that are brought in for an event must be removed from the Club’s property at the conclusion of the event. • The Club is not responsible for said gifts if left overnight on the property. • The Club will furnish tables, chairs, linens (in stock), wine glasses, cocktail napkins, mirrors, votive candles & holders and numerous items of similar nature at no extra charge. The Club will gladly rent any special or extra items that your function will require and bill them to your account. Menu Planning Menu Selection Date: In order for our staff to effectively plan and execute your function, we will need the final menu selections and event details no later then two weeks in advance of your reserved date. Market Demand: Menu prices and selection are subject to change due to market demand. Parties of 12 or More: All private parties greater than twelve persons are recommended to order a set menu or have a limited menu of options. Parties of 12 or Less: Parties of twelve persons or less have the option of ordering from the a la carte or grill menu or having a set menu. Food and Beverages: No food or beverages may be brought into the Club with the exception of wedding and other specialty cakes. Leftover Food & Beverages: The Club will provide ample food for your enjoyment throughout Cocktail Parties and Buffets; however, our Club policy prohibits taking leftover food or beverages from the premises. Choice of Entrée: Seated menu functions requesting a choice of entrées will be limited to a choice of three or fewer entrées and a maximum of 50 people. All parties selecting a choice of entrée will be required to provide the Club with the exact number of each choice within 72 hours of the event and provide coded place cards with distinct colors or coding at the time of the event. Special Diets: We will be happy to accommodate special dietary requests. Pricing Food pricing is per person. A 20% service charge and the current North Carolina sales tax will be added to all food and bar prices quoted. A minimum expenditure of $10.00 per person on food must be made on all Cocktail/Hors d’oeuvre Parties or Receptions except Children’s Birthday Parties. Alcohol Alcohol will only be served to persons 21 years of age and older. The Club will require proof of age from individuals. Without regard to age, persons who appear to be intoxicated will not be served any alcoholic beverages and may be required to leave the premises. For events in which a majority is underage, additional guidelines will apply. In accordance with the Club by-laws, all bars will close no later than 12am midnight. On all open bars, nottles are charged by the amount consumed. Wine may be brought in by the host, but will be subject to a corkage fee of $10 per bottle or $20 per magnum bottle. Parking & Coat Check The Country Club of Salisbury will not reserve parking spaces for anyone for any function. Valet Parking is contracted by the host. A Door Person will be available free of charge for events greater than 100 people. A Coat Room Attendant may be requested for any function at no additional charge. Musical Talent The Club welcomes outside entertainment for your event. We will be happy to recommend entertainers. Please know that it is the responsibility of the sponsoring member to advise musicians that they must follow the rules of the Club at all times. • Musicians must adhere to our dress code at all times including set-up and breakdown. • Musicians are not permitted to consume alcoholic beverages on Club property. • Musicians must not exceed the required sound levels of the Club and must act in a courteous and orderly fashion at all times. • Outside events requires musicians to end no later than 11pm and inside events by 12am midnight. • A meal will be provided to the musical entertainers for an additional fee with advanced planning. • Musicians will be required to use the restrooms, Teen Room, or other room per manager designation to change clothes. Directions for Guest • Traveling I-85 take exit 76 for Salisbury, Innes Street • If travelling south on I-85, turn Right at the end of the ramp. If travelling north on I-85, turn left at the end of the ramp. • Take a Right on Main Street. • Turn Left onto W. Eleventh Street • W. Eleventh St. becomes Club Drive • Go through the stop sign and up the hill into parking lot.
