Avoid unnecessary project costs by
eliminating extra labor, equipment and
materials. There is no need to tear out new
paving, brick and mortar to grade, then
re-patch the street. In addition, there are no
traffic disruptions—when the street is paved
the job is done and the manhole cover is
finished to grade.
Sloped steel riser ring
Risers are manufactured and assembled in
the USA from domestic A-36 steel or ASTM
48/Class 35B gray iron.
3-sided steel curb inlet riser
Adjustable Risers—
The steel adjustable
risers include a stainless
steel adjustable stud
with positive lock that
adjusts the diameter
+ or - 3/8". The risers
include allen head set
screws that lock the riser
to the manhole frame.*
*For proper torque, use a socket wrench with a hex
driver bit when securing allen head screws to frame.

If EJ frame is used specify the following:
1. Specify EJ catalog number of frame to be raised
2. Rise required in 1/4" increments starting at 3/4": Dim. X
3. Type — Solid or Adjustable
Manhole Riser
If the frame origin is unknown specify the following:
1. Top diameter or length and width of existing cover or grate — Dim. A
2. Bottom diameter or length and width of existing cover or grate — Dim. AA
3. Thickness of cover or grate — Dim. B
4. Rise required in 1/4" increments starting at 3/4": Dim. X
5. Type — Solid or Adjustable
