Handling Data in Key Stage 1
Creating a branching tree with 2Question
Purpose: 2Question allows you to record a tree diagram you have already created with learners
Children will need to have physically sorted the data before they record it in the software
Step 1
 Open the 2Simple Infant Video Toolkit
 Open 2Question
Step 2
 Open a new project
 From here you can select the number of steps to your
branching database
Step 3
 Start at the last row of your database and fill in
the names of the items you wish to classify or separate
 You can then add images to the box by drawing with the 2Simple pens or selecting another
option
Clear the picture you’ve
drawn
Copy a picture from your
clipboard
Insert a picture from
your computer
Step 4
 When you have filled in your last row, you can
begin to think of questions to separate your
animals
 Questions can be typed in by selecting the box
and typing as in Step 3
 You can save your database for editing later.
