This will be the 4th year that we will be hosting a US Youth Soccer ODP Sub Regional Event. The purpose
for this event is to provide an opportunity for the ODP Players to be trained and evaluated by the Region IV
ODP staff. The training can offer a significant advantage to those participating in ODP, and an additional
opportunity for those who wish to be invited to Regional Pool Camp for this summer.
Event Format: (Commuter Event)
In order to keep the cost very minimal we run this event in the very same fashion as a “Club Team” event.
We will not be housing, feeding, administrating or transporting the players for this event (just like state tryouts). It will be the responsibility of the parents to make sure the players show up and are picked up to and
from each session in a timely manner. You will be provided with the daily schedule for Friday/Saturday and
Sunday (6/3, 6/4 and 6/5) in advance so you can plan accordingly. The format for the weekend will be a
“Scramble team” format (scramble teams will be age pure). The players will participate on the same
scramble team all weekend. The schedule will include Classroom Sessions, training with Regional Staff
and Games. We should have the daily schedule ready by May 23rd.

What to Wear/Bring:
Field Sessions:
 Bring: Water bottle and soccer ball (mark both with Name)
 Bring: Tape/Pre-wrap (if needed) Trainer will be on site.
 Wear: Cleats, shin guards, for field sessions
Classrooms Sessions:
 Bring: Notebook and writing instrument (be prepared to take notes)
 Wear: Cal North/State ODP training T-shirt (Royal or white) if you are a CN player.

Sacramento Republic FC Game:
On Saturday evening at 8:00 PM, June 4th Sacramento Republic FC will play the LA Galaxy II at Bonney Field

Player Behavior:
This is the ODP program, where there is a zero tolerance level for breaking the rules. Failure to comply with the Code
of Conduct will result in swift action by the ODP Technical Director and 2 nd Vice Chairman. If you have any questions
regarding the Code of Conduct, you may want to review its contents.
Event Fee: ($75.00) Payment due at time of Registration
Pre-Registration is required for this event. Registration will close on May 23rd
How to Register to participate:
All State ODP players must PRE-REGISTER to participate in the 2016 Cal North ODP Sub Regional Event. There
will NOT be on-site Registration. Registration is only open until May 23rd. All players must register and pay
online (payment can be made by credit card or echeck). All players must be current 2015-2016 State ODP players. To
complete the online registration for this event, you must use the user name and password created when you
registered for State ODP. If you are a brand new user please follow the prompts to register for this event. Please do
not create a new account, if you have difficulty logging on, please contact the help desk.
