YOU NEED TO DO TO BE READY FOR THE
BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY RUSH
They’re coming. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are now just days away. Are you ready?
There’s lots to do to make the most of those two peak sales days, so we’ve prepared this quick checklist for you.
CH EC KL IST
I’ve done something to promote the fact that Black Friday won’t just be a day for
discounts and cheaper prices; it’ll be a special event.
I’ve prepared my business location accordingly, with decorations, appropriate
staffing, and perhaps even some food, drink, or activities to make the time
customers spend there more enjoyable.
I’ve created a special offer that’s unique and will set me apart from everyone else
offering discounts these days.
I’ve promoted our special offers on Facebook.
I’ve promoted our special offers on Twitter.
I’ve promoted our special offers via email — and I’ve made the message shareable
so my subscribers can easily promote it to their networks.
I’ve created signage for my business so people can sign up for my email list or
connect with me on Facebook or Twitter, and stay in touch throughout the holiday
season and beyond.
I have a camera ready to document what people are doing on Black Friday so I
can share it on social media.
I have a couple questions ready so I can ask people in a video for their shopping
tips, gift ideas, product use advice, or endorsements of my business.
I have plenty of giftwrap on hand (or I’ve partnered with an organization that
does) so I can help customers with preparing their gifts.
I’ve made sure there’s a link on every page of my website that will take people to
my email signup page.
I have an email message and social media posts ready to go to thank all who
patronized my business on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
