Our program includes everything you need to

• Australian Wildlife Experience
Get up and close with some of Australia’s endemic
species. See the Kangaroos, Koalas and other
indigenous species at Healesville Sanctuary.
In addition to these free events, we also organize
regular optional events on a weekly basis. We
regularly organize visits to museums, cinemas,
bars, restaurants and surf trips. Experience that
electrifying moment as you spot the first little
penguins emerging from the sea and waddling
along a Phillip Island beach at dusk.

Our programs are competitive and early
applications are encouraged.
Stage 1: Complete online application
After applying to The Intern Group program and
booking a convenient interview time online,
you will have a Skype/Phone interview with our
Admissions Team.
Stage 2: Skype / Phone Admissions Interview
In this 20 minute Skype/Phone interview we
will question you about your background,
experience and motivations, and discuss the
opportunities available within your field.

After your interview you will be informed within
3 business days of the status of your application.
Congratulations are in order for successful
applicants who will be formally offered a place
in our program and confirm their spot by making
a deposit.
Stage 3: Submit deposit via Paypal to confirm
your place
Once we have received your comfirmation
deposit you will have formally joined our
program and we will introduce you to our
internship placement team on the ground in
your destination.
Stage 4: Collaborative placement process with
local specialists
Our internship specialists will engage in a
collaborative internship placement process with
you and prepare you to Skype/Phone interview
for well-suited roles in your areas of interest.
Interviews will typically be arranged 4-12 weeks
prior to your arrival. Your internship role will
typically be confirmed 4-6 weeks prior to your
arrival.
All is then set for you to have a fantastic
experience abroad!
