From Barrel-­‐Aged Brews to Specialty Casks: What’s on Tap for the Arizona Strong Beer Festival PHOENIX, ARIZONA – From pale ales to porters and brown ales to bocks, breweries from across the state and beyond are readying their best brews in preparation for the 15th annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival, and are letting the public in on what they’ll have to sip on and sample at one of the region’s best-­‐attended winter events. From barrel-­‐aged brews to specialty casks, the lineup for the Valentine’s Day event to be held at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix is tapping into a bigger, badder and broader range of craft beers than ever before, with more than 400 brews on tap from more than 140 of the state and country’s best and most beloved craft breweries. More craft beer offerings are being added every day, so keep up with the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild on Facebook for updates and notifications of new brews. You never know what will pop up on the list. Plus we will have plenty of gourmet food to soak up those suds from food trucks like The Bullet, The Traveling Monk and Mother Bunch Brewery (food for purchase). The festival will boast a variety of rare and collabrews. Some beers will be very limited. This year’s festival promises the return of the “Text for Tappings” feature, where guests can simply text STRONG BEER to 555888 to be among the first to receive alerts about special tappings taking place during the festival.
