Highlights of the 2014 International
Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
July 22–27, 2014
The 2014 International Convention promises to be a powerful time of fellowship and
sources of empowerment. The theme “ . . . be strong and very courageous . . .” will help us
focus on ways we can meet the challenges of the world and serve the Lord in ways that
demonstrate the depth of our faith and our commitment to reaching others for Christ.
The 2014 Bible Message Speaker: Dr. Ravi Zacharias
Dr. Ravi Zacharias will be the Bible Message speaker. He was born in India in 1946 and
immigrated to Canada with his family twenty years later. While pursuing a career in business
management, his interest in theology grew; subsequently, he pursued this study instead. He
received his Master of Divinity from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois.
Dr. Zacharias is presently Senior Research Fellow at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University in
Oxford, England.
Ravi Zacharias has spoken all over the world including at the Annual Prayer Breakfast at the
United Nations and at the White House, and the Pentagon.
Dr. Zacharias has authored or edited over twenty books. His weekly radio program, “Let My
People Think,” airs on 2078 outlets worldwide. He is Founder and President of Ravi
Zacharias International Ministries, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Zacharias and his
wife, Margie, have three grown children. They reside in Atlanta.
