Landforms
Project
The second grade students are learning about various types of landforms. I
would like the students to create a 3-D diagram of a piece of land that
contains ALL five landforms that we talk about in this unit.
The five landforms they must have are:
1. Mountains
2. Hills
3. Plains
4. Peninsula
5. Island
They can use whatever materials they want and are encouraged to decorate
the scene with trees and houses, etc. Please have them use a toothpick (or
something of that sort) to label each landform.
They will be graded on:
• Neatness
• Creativity
• Following Directions
• Correctly Labeling
The project will be worth 40 points. I attached the rubric I will use to grade
the assignment.
DUE DATE: Thursday, December 5th
