New Families - $125 Registration Fee + $200 Deposit = $325 per child
Returning Families - $75 Registration Fee + $200 Deposit = $275 per child

4) Copy of most recent physical from pediatrician. Dental form for 3’s, 4’s and 5’s only. (No
child will be permitted to begin school in September without the most recent medical forms.)

RIDGEWAY NURSERY SCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN POLICY
STATEMENT
Ridgeway Nursery School & Kindergarten is open to all children regardless of race, creed, or ethnic origin.
In order for a child to be admitted to the school, parents must provide signed copies of the following: Application
for Enrollment, Agreement with Parents, Policy Statement, and the Health Form signed by the child’s physician.
TUITION AND FEES
Enrollment is on a yearly basis, with parents responsible for the yearly tuition indicated by the Director at
the time of enrollment. Only in the event of a move, extreme illness, or for reasons of the child’s adjustment
(when mutually agreed upon with teacher and Director), will refunds or termination of payments be considered.
If payment of fees is received later than 30 days from the due date, the child will not be allowed to
attend the school until such time as the tuition is brought up to date or arrangements are made with the
Director.
If a child is not picked up promptly at his/her scheduled time, parents will be charged a late fee of $25.
This is for the protection of the staff that have immediate responsibilities.
SIBLING DISCOUNT
For families with more than 1 child in the school, each younger child thereafter will receive a 10%
discount on his/her tuition.
CHANGES IN SCHEDULE
You may request a change to your child’s schedule until August 31, 2017 and again in January 2018 only.
Changes in schedule must be authorized by the Director, based on staffing availability.
HEALTH
The children are given a routine health check each day upon arrival. Any child who shows symptoms of
an illness will not be allowed to remain. Ridgeway is licensed to administer medication to your child with the
appropriate NYS paperwork signed by the doctor, parent and Director.
LUNCHES AND SNACKS
Snacks which are provided in the morning and afternoon are within suggested nutritional guidelines.
Lunch menus are published monthly and are approved by a dietician. Children requiring special diets must
bring written instructions from a physician or bring their own lunch. Ridgeway is a nut-free facility.
REFUND POLICY
If you decide to withdraw your child and you wish to receive a refund for the tuition payments you have
already made, you must notify the Director in writing as to why you are withdrawing your child. This letter
should include your child’s anticipated final day of school. Once the letter is presented to the Nursery School
Board, you will receive an 100% refund of the tuition monies you have paid (less any time your child has attended
school) if the following criteria have been met: (1) we must be able to fill your child’s space and (2) your child’s
class must be at maximum enrollment capacity. Registration fees cannot be refunded.
DAILY SCHEDULE
Teachers develop their lesson plans using suggested curriculum materials. The daily schedule includes,
but is not limited to, free play, art, group time, outdoor play or indoor gym activities.
PARENT’S AGREEMENT:
I fully understand and accept the above Policy Statement and Tuition Schedule, and agree to pay Ridgeway
Nursery School & Kindergarten in a timely manner for the 2017-2018 school year.

AGREEMENT WITH PARENTS AND
RIDGEWAY NURSERY SCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN
1.
I give permission for Ridgeway Nursery School and Kindergarten to seek
emergency treatment for my child.
2.
I give permission for my child to participate in field trips which the school conducts.
3.
I assume all responsibility for my child en route to and from the school.
4.
I understand that the school requires a registration fee upon application that is
non-refundable.
5.
I fully understand the Tuition Schedule I have received and agree that I will make
tuition payments by the due date as explained in the Policy Statement.
Non-payment of the May 1, 2017 fee will result in the forfeiture of my child’s space
at Ridgeway Nursery School & Kindergarten.
6.
I understand that the first tuition payment (due May 1, 2017) is a DEPOSIT.
If I choose not to send my child after this payment is made, a refund will only be given
if my child’s space can be filled.
7.
Like all private schools, adjustments in payment cannot be made due to illness,
holidays or snow days. No refund or discount is allowed by reason of temporary
absence.
8.
I hereby grant Ridgeway Nursery School & Kindergarten permission to photograph
my child. I understand that Ridgeway Nursery School & Kindergarten may use these
photographs for display within the school only. None of these photographs will be
used for advertisements, website or open house displays unless a parent gives
written authorization.
