VELOUR MANUFACTURING LINE
(1600mm wide) (1983)

This line manufactured cotton/acrylic
velour. The fabric was woven face to
face then cut and batched onto AFrames. The fabric was put through
a pre finishing line to raise, brush
and shear the pile. The fabric is then
dyed in a continuous dyerange
complete with sample dye unit.The
dyerange is complete with a dye
kitchen and mixing tanks.
The fabric is then put through a
Stenter complete with a latex foam
applicator at entry. Finally the fabric
is put through a final finishing line
and onto inspection tables.
