Terms and Conditions
This incentive (the “Incentive”) is open to all users of VSflyinghub.com and is related to
Virgin Atlantic’s #OneDayMore campaign.
Terms & Conditions
1.
The Incentive is open to all users of the VSflyinghub.com (“Agents”) who are
residents of Great Britain & Northern Ireland only and who are over 18 years of age
at the date of entry.

This Competition is not open to employees of Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd
(“Virgin Atlantic”) or Virgin Holidays Ltd, their families, their agencies or any
companies directly connected with the creation and administration of this
promotion.
2.
The promotion will run from 00:01hrs on Monday 12 September 2016 to 23:59 hrs on
Sunday 9 October 2016 inclusive and there will be four incentive periods (“Incentive
Periods”). This Competition is not open to employees of Virgin Atlantic Airways
Ltd (“Virgin Atlantic”), their families, their agencies or any companies directly
connected with the creation and administration of this promotion.
3.
Entries may be submitted in each of the Incentive Periods outlined below. Entries
received outside of these times will not be entered into the relevant Draw as outlined
in clause 9 below.

How to Enter
Agents who make a Qualifying Booking (as defined below) will be eligible to enter
online by visiting VSflyinghub.com/OneDayMore providing their name, E-mail
Address and PNR code of the Qualifying Booking. The PNR codes used in this
incentive cannot be used in any other Virgin Atlantic promotional activity running
during the period set out in clause 2 above.
5.
A “Qualifying Booking” is:
a)
a booking that is made during an Incentive Period; and
b)
is for flights booked and ticketed (or deposits secured for IT packages) on
either Virgin Atlantic Airways or Delta Air Lines® flights and with a Virgin
Atlantic flight prefix (‘VS/VS*’) or Delta Air Lines® prefix (‘DL/DL*’) and
operated by Virgin Atlantic Airways (or Virgin Atlantic International Limited in
the case of certain flights) as the carrier or Delta Air Lines® as the carrier;
and
c)
which has not subsequently been cancelled.
5.
By entering this promotion you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and
conditions.
6.
Virgin Atlantic accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to
a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure,
satellite, network or server failure of any kind. Receipt of entries will not be
acknowledged by Virgin Atlantic.
7.
No purchase is necessary.
8.
All Qualifying Bookings will be audited by Virgin Atlantic prior to winners being drawn
to ensure the conditions set out at clause 5 above have been complied with.
9.
Selection of Winners
All eligible entries from each Incentive Period shall then be placed into a draw
(“Draw”) from which a winners will be selected at random on the dates set out below
to receive a prize. Each Draw will be conducted by PromoVeritas, an independent
promotional verification service. Winners will be notified by email on the notification
date set out below and winners must respond within 14 days of the Winner
Notification Date.

Specific Conditions relating to flights and/or hotel accommodation
a)

All flights will be for travel originating in London Heathrow, London Gatwick or
Manchester.
Tickets may not be redeemed for use during the following periods:






13th November 2016 – 20th November 2016
15th December 2016 – 15th January 2017
6th April 2017 – 26th April 2017
1st July 2017 – 15th September 2017
15th December 2017 – 15th January 2018
St James’s Club accomodation, Antigua – (October 2016 – April 2017),
(July 2017– August 2017), (November 2017 – December 2017).
Popular dates (weekends, school and public holidays) will fill quickly and
Virgin Atlantic cannot guarantee availability. Some flights may already be
booked and consequently have no seats available in the applicable booking
class. Winners should try to book as much in advance as possible.
c)
Winners and companions will be entirely responsible for arranging and paying
for their own transport to and from the departure and arrival airports and also
between airports (if applicable), hotel accommodation (including any related
taxes), car hire, food, beverages (unless food and beverages are included in
the Prize), visa, passport, travel insurance or medical insurance.
d)
Passenger taxes, charges, fees and surcharges on the flight tickets only will
be covered by Virgin Atlantic.

Winners and companions must travel on the same flight and on the same
dates. If Winner wishes to travel alone, the second ticket will be forfeited.
e)
Once tickets are issued, they are only valid for the flights and dates shown on
the tickets. Additionally, once vouchers for the accommodation are issued
they will be valid only for the dates specified.
f)
All travel must commence before the the voucher expiry date specified. No
changes will be permitted.
g)
No upgrades will be permitted.
h)
The Prize Winner and their companion will abide by and be subject to Virgin
Atlantic's published Conditions of Carriage or Delta Air Lines® Conditions or
Carriage (as relevant), which are available via www.virginatlantic.com or
www.Delta.com. Flight schedules are subject to change without notice.
12.
Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to substitute the Flight Prize for an alternative
equivalent prize if for any reason beyond the control of Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Atlantic
is unable to award the Prizes which include flights. No cash alternative will be
available in whole or in part and Prizes cannot be sold or transferred for value.
13.
By sending entries, participants agree to release the Promoter from any liability
whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out
of or in connection with the Promotion or with the acceptance, possession, or use of
any Prize (except death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence, for
fraud, or otherwise as prohibited by law).
14.
If Virgin Atlantic cannot establish contact with each Winner within 14 days of the
applicable Notification Date for each Period, Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to
arrange for another name to be drawn at random to receive the relevant Prize for the
relevant Incentive Period.
15.
It is a condition of accepting a Prize that the Winners give consent for Virgin Atlantic
to publish their name and branch in association with the promotion. The winner(s)
agree to participate in such publicity relating to the competition as Virgin Atlantic may
reasonably require.
16.
The Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
17.
This promotion may not be entered in conjunction with any other bonus, incentive
scheme or other promotion offered by Virgin Atlantic.
18.
Multiple entries are permitted within each Incentive Period.
19.
Under HM Revenue and Customs regulations benefits provided to employees of third
parties (ie agents) are taxable and are subject to Income Tax at the employee’s
marginal rate. National insurance contributions are also due on the value of the
award and on the tax paid on behalf of the employees. As Virgin Atlantic has
arranged and facilitated the provision of a benefit to winners, a user of
VSflyinghub.com, Virgin Atlantic warrants that it will:
i)
Report the benefit through a Taxed Award Scheme. This includes reporting
the actual value of the benefit and the tax paid.
ii)
Settle the basic rate tax due on the award. It is the employee’s responsibility
to report and pay any additional tax due where the Agent is a higher or
additional rate taxpayer. Professional personal taxation advice should be
sought in the instance where an Agent is unsure if there is any further tax
due.
iii)
Settle the NICs due on the value of non-cash award and the amount of tax
paid. Where the award is a cash award, it is the winner’s employer
responsibily to pay any NICs due.
iv)
Collect, record and keep all the relevant information on file.
Certificates confirming the total value of the award and the tax that has been paid on
the award will be provided on request by the Agent.
20.
Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or cancel the promotion at any
time.
21.
Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third
party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the
relevant prize.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and exclusive jurisdiction of
the courts of England and Wales.
