All youth are invited to go to Pastor
Josh’s house after the regular youth
meeting for a time of fellowship. Parents, please pick
them up promptly at 9pm.

Women on Mission met on Oct. 12. Our
special guest speaker was Mr. Robert
Buckner, Adult Home Specialist with
Onslow County Dept. of Social Services.
He shared information about the Elder
Cheer Program and the senior adults who benefit from
this program. We will collect items for Elder Cheer
until November 30.
Our blanket ministry continues!! The next workday will
be Nov. 1. Please join us for this special project in the
Fellowship Hall. No special skills needed - just a willing
heart!
Our monthly Prayer Breakfast’s have been postponed
until the month of January and our next regular meeting
will be on Nov. 9 at 7 pm. We would like to have each
person bring one item for the food pantry to our regular
meeting. Hope to see you there!!

talk about the same thing. To do that, it would be best to find what
scripture gives us as a description or a map of sorts to lead us to learn
together where discipleship should take us. As we, the church, seek God's
face this morning, my prayer is that your heart is motivated to seek to be
a true disciple. It's not a passive idea, it is an active journey we are being
challenged with. Will you join me on this quest this morning? After all...
He tells us... 'Follow Me!'
OCC Soup & Sandwich Supper
& Donation Collection
Sunday, November 6th after the evening service
Everyone is invited and encouraged to come out and
warm up with some soup and sandwiches. All we ask
is that you bring items for the OCC Shoeboxes.
Items needed: soap, flashlights, tooth paste, socks,
school supplies (scissors, pencil sharpeners, colored
pencils/crayons, glue sticks).
We would love to have all the needed items
before our Shoebox Packing Party on Thursday,
November 10th at 7pm.
