Popcorn Recipes for a Healthy Snack
Three cups of popcorn is one serving from the whole grain group. Ask your parents
to help you try one of these three recipes at home!
Yield: 3 cups. Each Recipe serves: 1-2.
Recipes and Ingredients:



APPLE PIE POPCORN: 3 cups popped corn, 1½ teaspoons sugar, ¾ teaspoon
cinnamon, 2 tablespoons dried apple pieces
COCOA TRAIL MIX POPCORN: 3 cups popped corn, 1½ teaspoons hot cocoa
mix, 1 tablespoon raisins, 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
PIZZA POPCORN: 3 cups popped corn, 1 tablespoon parmesan, 1 teaspoon
oregano
Directions: Pick a recipe and gather your ingredients. Lightly spray popcorn
with oil cooking spray. Add ingredients to popcorn and shake together. Enjoy!
