How is your Oikos doing? Have you been able to identify the 8 to 15

How is your Oikos doing? Have you been able to identify the 8 to 15 people
that God has strategically placed in your life? Keep working on figuring out
who God wants you to serve and share His love with. Once you’ve done that,
remember to pray for them, and grow into praying for them daily.
Our Rummage Sale is the first event of the month of June. We need donations. We need people to help run the event, particularly those who are willing to pick up heavy items and others to take the remaining items away Saturday afternoon. Please help us raise money to send our youth to camp!
Vacation Bible School is our major endeavor this month. Cave Quest is our
VBS theme and you can register your child at https://www.groupvbspro.com/
vbs/ez/ACCC . The earlier we get our kids registered the easier we make it
for Heidi and the team to do their jobs. We still need about a half a dozen
adults to shepherd a group of 5-6 kids around during the week. This is our
largest single ministry endeavor that we do all year. Please consider supporting this ministry.
We have our all church business meeting on June 26th. We have the opportunity to approve our budget and our slate of candidates for the church board
for 2015-2016. Let’s come and support those who give their time and effort
sacrificially to oversee the work of our church.
Plan on coming to our all church campout July 28-31st. We are returning to
the old Dobbins 4H camp. May God bless you as we turn to our summer
months.

Vacation Bible School is one of our biggest events of the year. VBS is the time to celebrate the relationships we've been building with our Noah's Ark Families and kids in American Canyon. Our theme this year is Cave Quest - Following Jesus, the Light of the World.
We need EVERYONE'S help to make VBS successful. Register your children online at the
above website. Volunteers are needed to begin decorating on June 1st. To volunteer and find
out how you can help, contact the church office at (707) 644-0576.

First Night Ministry
Many thanks to all of you who have supplied dinners and new pajamas for this ministry
to foster families in our community! We have been able to help with 7 kids since the
beginning of the year and look forward to continuing as long as there is a need.
There is opportunity for everyone to be involved. How about your kids earning money
with extra chores and going to buy a pair of pj's? Or baking cookies for the freezer to
go with the meals that we provide.
We've found that frozen meals work the best - casseroles, lasagna and mild enchiladas are a few kid-friendly ideas. Crock Pot meals in Ziploc bags are great. The internet
has TONS of freeze ahead recipes.
If you would like to be involved please contact Toni Jo Payne (552-5972 or [email protected]). We need some specific sizes/genders of pajamas so give me a
call for the list. Thank you in advance.
