Alligator Ramp
The Alligator Ramp combines traffic flow control and speed control
in one product. Alligator Ramps are a modular steel speed ramp with
inbuilt Alligator Teeth as a direction control device.
A 50mm wide tooth will safely deflate car and 4×4 tyres but is depressed
when vehicles move in the approved direction. Large rubber buffers
ensure quiet, smooth operation, and red cats’ eyes provide night-time
warning to vehicles moving against the approved traffic flow direction.
Ramp sections are 320mm wide by 690mm long and have a strong
Durbar surface, finished in alternating black/ yellow. The system is rated
for all wheeled vehicles including HGVs and is simple to install on asphalt
or concrete using expanding anchor bolts. High quality components
ensure that the Alligator Ramp provides a long-lasting low-maintenance
vehicle control solution.
