Welcome to The Color Run™ Shine Tour 2015!
We have developed this race guide to provide you with all the information you will need to make your experience at the event as FANTASTIC as possible. Welcome to the Happiest 5k on the Planet!
Check-in Party
Come to the Check-in Party and pick up your race
packet! In order to pick up your packet, please
remember to bring a printed or digital copy of
your confirmation email with the QR code on it.

You can also pick up packets for your friends and
teammates provided you have a copy of their
confirmation email as well.
If you are unable to make it on Thursday or
Friday, you can pick up your packet on Saturday (race day). Please plan on being early.
You cannot pick up packets for other runners
without their QR code!!
Race Day Check-In Party
Reminder: You cannot transfer your registration to
another runner within 1 week of the event. Groupon
registrations are non-transferable

You will receive your t-shirt, tattoo, and headband at check
in.You will receive your Medal, SHINE powder pack, and
Color Pack when you cross the finish line. Please make sure
to wear your race bib on race day!

Running with Children
Participants that will be running with their
children are encouraged to pick up a wristband
for their child (pictured below).
You can pick up a wristband at the check-in
party.

Getting There
Color Runners, we highly encourage you to arrive early for
this event. With hundreds of other participants coming,
you'll want to avoid the rush right before the race. We
encourage you to pick up your packet early and hang out
with us, rather than waiting until right before the event.
Please plan on being at the venue early.

In case of extreme weather, stay updated on race day

The Color Run Store
The store will be set up at Check-in and the Finish Festival
along with other local and national vendors (bring cash or
card).

the pre-race party! Zumba starts 1 hour
before the Start Time. Dodger Stadium Gates
will open at 6:15 AM on race morning.

Please note: There are no lockers or bag drop
facilities so arrive ready to run and plan to keep
any items you bring with you or leave your valuables at home.

Charity Highlight
Thank You
We are thrilled to be working with Back on My Feet
and The Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
The Color Run could not be what it is without the
help of many behind the scene heroes. We'd like
to thank all the selfless volunteers for donating
their time and efforts, and the City of Los Angeles
for encouraging a healthy and active community.
We thank our awesome charity partners for their
commitment to the community, Dodger Stadium
for hosting the event, and we thank you - our
fearless Color Runners.
Back on My Feet is a national organization that
uses running to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they
can make real change that results in employment
and independent living.

It’s your year to
Reminders
● To find lost items or to be reunited with friends, our Lost &
Found area will be located at/near the Check-in tent.
● Please attach your bib number so it is visible on your shirt.
This is how you will be identified as a Color Runner.
● Teams may run in a group or separately, it is completely
up to you.
● Friends and family are welcome to meet up with participants in the general festival areas. Only Color Runners will
be allowed in the finish chute area.

Safety First
● Alcohol is NOT allowed at The Color Run.
● Runners please keep to the left; walkers and participants
with strollers, etc. keep to the right.
● If running with small children, please watch and direct
them through the race.
● If you are concerned at all with any part of the run, feel
free to wear safety glasses, a bandana, or dust mask.
● Please follow any directions provided by race officials,
volunteers, and law enforcement.
● No glass bottles, containers etc. allowed at the venue
(parking lots, sidewalks, streets, course, etc.)
● Above all, please be courteous and respectful to everyone
around you.
