Become a volunteer sexual assault counselor and support female
veterans who have experienced sexual violence!
CSP Inc Project HER. Heal. Engage. Respond. is offering a limited number of
scholarships to female veterans who are interested in becoming California State
Certified Sexual Assault Counselors. This certification training is a 48-hour state
training which provides individuals with the opportunity to receive education and
learn skills required to act as a sexual assault counselor. Volunteer opportunities
through Project HER include: crisis counseling, 24 hour hotline support,
accompaniment services, outreach events and mentorship.
Summer Training Class will be held
Thursday, July 10-Thursday, July, 31, 2014
Sessions are Tuesday and Thursday evenings form 6 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. and Saturdays
from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All sessions are required.
