2017 Conference Helping patients to help themselves: Improving the management of persistent pain Directions The Conference will be held in the David Sizer lecture theatre in the Bancroft Building, Mile End Campus, Queen Mary University London, London E1 4NP. The campus is easily reachable by public transport, see below for details. We regret we cannot arrange space for parking cars or other vehicles. Street map This map shows the local area, including the two nearest underground stations which are Stepney Green and Mile End. The entrance to the campus is on Mile End Road (the A11) opposite Harford Street in the centre of the map, just to the south of the Queen Mary University of London campus: Campus map and directions As you walk along Mile End road (the A11) you will come to the Clock Tower entrance which leads to The Queens’ Building. Enter here, and walk past the Queens’ Building keeping to the right side: After a couple of minutes you will see a small square to the right with trees and a sculpture. Walk into the square, Mucci’s café will be diagonally to your left: After registering, exit Mucci’s via the fire-door at the back (this will be signposted). The David Sizer lecture theatre is a few metres down the corridor, the door is clearly marked: The campus map is reproduced here. The Bancroft Building is building number 31, and Mucci’s café where registration will take place is number 29, circled at the centre right: For reference the nearby buildings are: 19. 20. 29. 31. 32. Francis Bancroft Building Library Public transport London Underground The nearest tube stations are: Stepney Green, on the District Line and the Hammersmith & City Line. Mile End, on the Central Line, the District Line, and the Hammersmith & City Line. The Bancroft Building is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from either station straight along Mile End Road (the A11). Buses Bus routes 25, 205 and 339 all stop directly outside the campus. The stop is called “Queen Mary University of London” and you will alight at stop D or stop E.
