The final game of the winter league for 2016 took place on Saturday with all forty players
taking part. The first four ball teed off just after eight o’clock and the final four coming off
the eighteenth at four just caching the last of the daylight. Conditions were cold but dry and
by four o’clock it turned very cold I know I was part of the last four ball.
This week’s format was a two ball scramble with halve the combined score and a minimum
of seven drives each. This format calls for some big scores as was reflected on the day:1st place with 55 points

Also on Saturday thirty six members took part in the weekly roll up. Considering the time of
year and the cold weather conditions the course is still in fantastic, a credit to our greens
staff.
