Preface
The following instructions are applicable for the Robert Bosch Aftermarket Division only and its
facilities located in Atlanta GA, Broadview IL, and Ontario CA.
When Bosch is responsible for paying the transportation freight cost directly to the carrier, all vendor
shipments must be shipped Collect and according to the instructions and definitions below.
Failure to comply will result in the excess transportation cost being debited back to the vendor.
It is imperative that you record the Bosch purchase order number(s) on the bill of lading. In addition,
shipment packaging must conform to Robert Bosch LLC Aftermarket Division External Supplier
Packaging and Labeling Specifications (rev.7).
Definitions:
Small Package - Any shipment not to exceed 120 lbs. (maximum combined length and girth of 130 inches
and maximum length of 108 inches).
Less Than Truckload - Any shipment exceeding 120 lbs. In weight but less than 7,000 lbs. and does not fill
trailer to full visible capacity.
Full Visible Capacity - Approximately 50% of trailer floor space utilized.
Truckload - Any shipment which fills trailer to full visible capacity, or exceeds 7,000 lbs.
Instructions:
Small Package Shipments as defined above - UPS COLLECT. Vendor invoicing must not contain
prepaid and add freight charges. (Do not insure / declare a value, unless approved by Bosch).
Use the following UPS account numbers when shipping to Bosch:

Ontario - #83X008
