Rust formation on your cutlery
eb harmony cutlery from erik bagger a/s are made
from stainless steel. But if cutlery is not handled
properly it may become rusty.
Stainless steel cutlery may become rusty if
washed with other items that are not made from
stainless steel or which are already rusty.
So check the garlic press and especially the
cheese cutter, which is the biggest culprit.
Warranty against clouding
We provide a 2-year warranty against clouding
on all glass products.
Your cutlery is at risk of rust if it is left unrinsed/
unwashed for too long after use. Food residues
contain vinegar, lemon, lactic acid or salt, which
corrodes surfaces.
In the unlikely event that your erik bagger a/s
glasses develop clouding we will of course
replace them.
Clouding appears as a whitish stripe on glass.
The stripe is caused by tiny indentations and
cracks in the glass that cannot be seen by the
naked eye. Clouding tends to manifest after you
have machinewashed glass several times.
Unfortunately, clouding cannot be removed.

So remember to rinse cutlery.
If rust has occurred you must clean your dishwasher: Run the empty machine with some citric
acid. This removes rust residues.
Correct dosage and temperature
If your glass is foggy or looks as though you
drunk milk from it, it may be due excessive
amounts of dishwasher detergent and rinse.
It is important you use the correct amounts of salt,
dishwasher detergent and rinse. You must also
wash your glasses at the correct dishwasher
temperature.
All erik bagger products are machine washable in
glass wash cycle.
