Visit your grandparents or any relative and learn something productive. Don’t forget to share your experience
with your friends and teachers when you return to school.
Read newspaper daily to enhance your general awareness, vocabulary, language and comprehension skills.

India is an amalgamation of various thoughts and ideologies. It has a very
vast and varied culture rich in knowledge, devotion, deeds, emotions and
feeling. It is the broad mindedness of Indian Culture that it has assimilated
all those characteristic features without any hesitation, as one.
Kids! You must feel proud to be an Indian when you read or hear any song
or poem depicting the rich and diverse heritage of India.
Now, here‟s an opportunity to depict India‟s rich heritage in your own
words through a „Poem‟ or a „Slogan‟. Be a budding poet or a writer and
compose your own Poem or Slogan expressing your varied feelings as an
Indian and about its rich heritage.

The protection of our rich cultural heritage and maintaining continuity of the
National culture constitutes an essential cultural base for promoting unity in
the nation. Keeping this in mind, last year the very famous monument –
HUMAYUN‟S TOMB in New Delhi has undergone some important Restoration
work.
Find out the historical importance of this great monument. Archeological
Survey of India has undertaken a major renovation work here. Research on its
