means a terrible place
to be. I’m sure there
are worse places, like
the middle of an
erupting volcano.
A break is still
nice to have, because
school forces you into
a very monotonous
routine. You come to
school and see the
same people and go
to the same classes
every single day. I
would have to say
the people bother me

Famous Poems
Hope is a thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings a tune without words
And never stops at all
And sweetest, in the gale, is heard
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That keeps so many warm.
I’ve heard it in the chilliest land
And on the strangest Sea
Yet, never, in extremity
It ask a crumb of me.

Allen’s Word
Christmas break
has come, and it shall
be glorious. Sure, I’ll
have to provoke my
annual arguement
with my mother by
stating that she doesn’t have to play “Let
It Snow” a trillion
times in a row just
because it is the
Christmas season.
However, I am still
quite happy I will be
out of school.
School is by no

more than the classes.
Books don’t annoy
me, people do.
Teenagers are a naturally loud bunch.
They become even
louder by the hundreds.
Understand, I’m
not being mean when
I say people annoy
me. I am simply stating that I’m not a
very social person
and school is a social
event every single
day. Surely, I am not
the only person who
grows tired of listening to teenage arguements and pointless
conversations.
Basically, you
people are good but
in small doses. We
need these breaks so
we all can prepare
ourselves to deal
with each other for
another semester.
With that said, have a
merry Christmas!
What’s Up?
What is your
best Christmas
memory?
Jeanne, Counselor.
“Having all my family
together to open presents
on Christmas morning and
then having a great big
meal in the afternoon.”
Barry, Sr.
“The Christmas last year. I
got to stay home and relax.
It was nice, because we
usually have to go to a
family reunion.”
Monica, Jr.
“My best Christmas memory is when I got my first
four-wheeler.”
Chance, So.
“Mine will be this year,
because I am going to get
my awesome guitar.”
Famous Quotes
“People are always
asking me what my
lyrics mean. Well, I say
what any decent poet
would say if you dared
ask him to analyse his
work: if you see it, darling, then it’s there.”
- Freddie Mercury
Sara, Fr.
“My best Christmas memory is when I was thirteen.
I got to spend my Christmas with my whole family.”
