Argentina
Hunting in Argentina with our partner Argentina Bighunting. Argentina, with its different
climates and geographies offers many options to the foreign hunters.
From the plains of Buenos Aires province to the mountains of Patagonia country, crossing
the scrublands of La Pampa province, our country offers a great variety of native and exotic
species. Argentina is one of the most recognized hunting and fishing destinations around
the world.
In Argentina it is possible to hunt the following game: Red Deer, Buffalo, Fallow Deer,
Blackbuck, Multi-Horned Sheep, Axis Deer, Peccary, Mouflon, Feral Goat, Puma, Wild Boar,
Feral Sheep and Small Game.
Gun importation permit and hunting license value are subject to change according the
Argentinean authorities policies.
The seasons are throughout the whole year except red stag and fallow deer. Their
season goes from March to August.
Province
La Pampa
Estancia Los Cerritos
Is located in the province of La Pampa; the heart of the big game hunting area and 450
miles from Buenos Aires.
After having arrived by plane via Buenos Aires into Santa Rosa, you are picked up at the
airport and transfer by car to the lodge (travel time approx. 1 h).
Los Cerritos lodge resides in a 10,000 acres ranch along the beautiful Quehue Valley.
The key features of the lodge are: First-class accommodation, international gourmet cuisine,
English-speaking personnel and guides, clubhouse with lounge, two dining rooms, game
room, bar, watch tower, terrace with view over Quehue Valley, 5 bungalows (equipped with
8 standard ensuite bedrooms, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone, A/C, minibar, hydro massage
and all comfort necessary for our guests).
In this area 16 Big Game Species and Winged Game can be hunted. More than 70,000 ha of
private land and concessionary areas are available for hunting (partially fenced).

Mountains:
Alicura Lodge by Algar
Is located in the province of Neuquen; the heart of the Patagonia Mountains. It is one of the
best big game mountains hunting area of Argentina and lies 1000 miles south west from
Buenos Aires.
After having arrived by plane via Buenos Aires in San Carlos de Bariloche Airport, you are
picked up at the airport and transfer by car to the lodge (travel time approx. 1 h).
Patagonia, a unique landscape in itself… Our 60.000 acre (24.000 hectares) private ranch is
located just 60 miles north of the beautiful city of San Carlos de Bariloche.
Accommodations are top; the lodge was recently renovated, have six master bedrooms with
all the comfort. There is a chef who excels in the preparation of delicious local and
International cuisine. Argentine wine and beer are freely available during meals. Services

Recommended
Equipment
It depends on the region and the season chosen by the hunter. Since Argentina doesn´t has
extreme weather conditions as North America or Europe we recommend to bring clothing for
mild/cold weather.
During our fall we recommend light but strong shirts and trousers, wool sweater, hat and a
heavy jacket just in case. Camo gear is allowed in Argentina.
For still hunts during the night (allowed in Argentina for several game as puma, wild boar and
so on) heavier clothes are required because the nights use to be cold. Special underwear,
gloves and a warm hat use to be useful.
As for the foot wear we recommend comfortable water proof boots, suitable for long walks.
Don’t forget your personal hygiene stuff.
Regarding the hunting equipment the hunter is free to bring whatever considers useful for
this hunt: binoculars, pocket knife, photo camera, flash light and so on.
