STRAWBERRY PLANTS – All varieties are vigorous, free of pests, and freeze well. A bundle of
25 plants is enough for a forty-foot row. Strawberry season runs from mid-May to mid-June.
BLACKBERRY PLANTS – Plants are thorn-less; semi-erect; and bear very heavy, large fruit
with excellent flavor. Blackberries ripen in mid-June and bear for three (3) weeks or more.
RASPBERRY PLANTS – Plants are hardy, ever-bearing, and produce red fruit which are very
good for fresh consumption or for freezing. Always popular, this variety bears fruit in its first year,
producing a light crop in spring and then a heavy crop in fall.
BLUEBERRY PLANTS – Three plants are rabbit-eye varieties (R-E), two or more plants of
different varieties planted no more than 100 feet apart are needed to ensure good
pollination. Plants are two years old, bare-rooted, 10" to 16" tall, and can produce 25 quarts of
fruit when mature. Rabbit-eye season runs from late June until August. **NEW THIS YEAR**:
The New Hanover Blueberry (southern highbush) is a self-fruitful and high yielding.
