Modulelement: Selbststudium Leseliste LAG
Modul 14: Literatur und Kultur Vertiefung 2 (LAG)
Exam: written exam (“unbenotet”)
(Recommended time frame for exam: 7th – 8th semester)
This list includes the required readings for Transcultural Anglophone Studies/Neue
Englischsprachige Literaturen und Kulturen. We strongly recommend that you start
reading early.
The exam completes a “Selbststudium” module. If you have not read all of the texts on the
lists closely and critically (including relevant secondary literature wherever applicable), it
might make sense to choose a later date for the exam. You will be expected to compare/
contrast the texts on the list and situate them in the broader context of Transcultural
Anglophone Studies (TAS), its analytical perspective and its historical horizon.
The TAS website offers a wide array of resources to accompany, facilitate, and support your
independent study of these texts. If you wish to take a “mock exam” to familiarize yourself
with the exam modalities, please register for the TAS Colloquium that is offered every
semester.
