Physicians Aiding Physicians Abroad (PAPA Missions) was founded by Kyle Sheets, MD in 2003
with the goal of providing practical help to other physicians who had a desire for medical missions, but no practical experience in planning mission trips. Since its inception, the organization’s mission has expanded with arising needs. PAPA Missions now focuses many of its resources on sending medical supplies and volunteers to impoverished areas throughout the
globe.
Since 2003, PAPA Missions has sent hundreds of volunteers to over a dozen countries on four
different continents, and has shipped medical supplies worth tens of millions of dollars to needy
medical facilities around the world.
Greg Miller, MD serves as the Medical Director for PAPA Missions. Dr. Miller is a graduate of
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He completed his anesthesiology residency training at TTUSHC and a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
