IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY Summer housing includes basic cable service. Long distance phone service is not available. Please contact Chartwells for meal service information. The shuttle bus does not operate during the summer. Students are expected to abide by all campus and residence life policies throughout the entire summer. The policies can be found online via residence life website. • PRE-Session I Housing is offered on a limited basis, depending on space availability, and is primarily for current residents who are remaining in the halls after the close of the spring semester until the start of Summer Session I. Students will reside in Marsh Hall during this time. Due to the short amount of time between closing for the Spring Semester and Pre-Session I check in, rooms will be only be swept-clean. Rooms will NOT be professionally cleaned. Pre-Session Housing check-in will occur on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 3-5 pm at Marsh Hall. All students applying for PRE-Session I Housing or Senior Week housing will remain in their current spring assignments until they move to Marsh Hall on Sunday, May 14, 2017. • Summer Session I Housing Check-In will occur on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Marsh Hall beginning at 1 pm. On Sunday, June 4, 2017 students will be required to move to Atlantic Hall. Failure to move by the publicized time may result in loss of housing and potential charges. For Summer Session I students, if you are not staying for Intersession, you MUST CHECK OUT NO LATER THAN 5 pm on Saturday, July 1, 2017. • Intersession Check-In will begin at 1 pm on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Atlantic Hall. For Intersession students, if you are not staying for Summer Session II, you MUST CHECK OUT NO LATER THAN 5 pm on Sunday, July, 2017. • Summer Session II Check-In will begin at 10 am on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Atlantic Hall. For Summer Session II students, if you have not been approved for Extended Summer Housing, you must check-out by Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 5 pm. There is LIMITED HOUSING AVAILABILITY from August 20, 2017 until the start of the fall semester.** If you would like to request to stay additional nights you must either check off EXTENDED SUMMER HOUSING PORTION OF THIS FORM or submit your request by August 1, 2017 at 5 pm in writing to residence life. Extended-Session housing is on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis. The cost for additional nights is $35 per night, per person. Students will move to their permanent fall assignment during this time until Sunday, August 28, 2017 (TENTATIVE DATE) at which time students may move to their permanent fall assignment (depending on availability) and pay early arrival charges ($35 per night) until their regularly scheduled check- in date. Due to limited availability, students will be housed in triple and quad rooms if necessary. ***EXTENDED SUMMER HOUSING, AUGUST 20 – SEPTEMBER 2, 2017 IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE OBTAINED A FALL 2017 HOUSING ASSIGNMENT*** HOW TO OBTAIN SUMMER HOUSING 1.
