ABOUT OUR CLUB
MONTHLY LUNCHEONS
The Chesapeake Sports Club was
organized in January 2011 for the purpose
of promoting Sports in Chesapeake; hosting
monthly luncheons with guest speakers;
providing scholarships to Chesapeake
high school seniors; honoring Chesapeake
athletes; raising funds through special
activities and events, including an annual
Jamboree with prominent keynote speakers
and an annual Golf Tournament.
The Chesapeake Sports Club holds it’s
monthly meeting on the second Monday
of each month, at 11:30 am in the
Chesapeake Conference Center located
on Woodlake Drive in the Greenbrier
section of the city. Luncheon cost for
members is $15 and $20 for guests. You
must RSVP to the club secretary one
week prior to ensure an accurate meeting
count. Meeting topics can include club
updates, Legend awards, high school
athlete acknowledgements, and a
headline speaker.
SCHOLARSHIPS & LEGENDS
Our Club acknowledges high school,
collegiate, professional, and retired athletes
and coaches who hail from Chesapeake
or have had a meaningful impact on our
community and their chosen sport.
Our Scholarship program rewards the
best and brightest from our city’s public and
private high schools with scholarships for
their continuing education.
Our Legends program acknowledges
our city’s rich history and achievements in
sports, from athletes to coaches across all
sports.
ANNUAL DUES
Annual Dues of $100 are payable to CSC
by January 31st. Dues including prepaid
monthly meals are $250.
