LENTEN SEASON
The Holy Season of Lent began on Ash Wednesday, February 10, 2016 (Ash Wednesday). Lent is a serious
time for extra prayer and meditation. It is a time of spiritual growth, as well as fasting and almsgiving in
preparation for Easter. With our families, we take this time to think about how much the gospel means to us
and how well we are living up to God’s fundamental law of love.
JK/K REGISTRATIONS
Appointments are now being made for registrations for Junior Kindergarten classes for September 2015 and
also for first-time Kindergarten classes. Registrations have taken place here at school through the month of
February. If you have a son or daughter who is still not registered, please contact Mrs. Ozog, our secretary,
at 905-560-7616 to set up an appointment as soon as possible. The following documents and information will
be required for the registration:
Baptism Certificate
Birth Certificate
Proof of address
Name and phone number of family doctor
Emergency Contacts – full address with postal code
and phone number
Up-dated Immunization Record & Health Card Number for Health Dept.
Immigration Papers (if applicable)
Please inform your neighbours, who have a right to attend this school, of the on-going registration.
PLEASE NOTE: These registrations are vital to our staffing numbers next year, so be sure to register as soon
as possible rather than waiting to register at a later date.
UPDATED INFORMATION FOR SEPTEMBER 2016
Please let Mrs. Ozog know well in advance if you will be moving out of the St. Agnes School area for
September, 2016. This will assist us in organizing our teaching staff and, eventually, class placements for
students.
